i can't possibly get mad at someone after hearing this song. tonight i was listening to it while driving. someone cut me off. i was about to yell something really offensive and then i remembered the lyrics, 'maybe you don't like your job maybe you didn't get enough sleep well, nobody likes their job nobody got enough sleep maybe you just had the worst day of your life but, you know, there's no escape and there's no excuse so just suck up and be nice ' and quickly shut my mouth. somehow i feel like this is a religion, ani is my goddess, and her lyrics are commandments. she has some great philosophies to live by. |
