| i love the Simple Plan cd, and i can relate to EVERY song, but this song *and I'm Just A Kid* r the two songs right now that seem like they were written JUST for me...right now im having HUGE problems with my dad, cuz i just started college. In high school, grades werent that important to me, im smart, but ive always hated homework, and choir and friends meant more to me than class...i wasnt THAT bad, i ended up w/about a 3.0 cumulative GPA, but my dad was CONVINCED i wasnt even going to graduate. now that im starting college, he's already assuming im going to screw this up too. the other day after asking me how school was, he looked at my mom and said "she's fucking up" he just already assumes that im messing up, when ive only been in for two weeks! anyways, i can COMPLETELY relate to this, and EVERY single time i hear it now it makes me burst out in tears. i was crying for like two hours yesterday after hearing this song. i wish that parents understood us better, and didnt put so much pressure on us! ahh...this song is so emotional! | |
