| The first time I ever heard this song I was in the car with my best friend and her sister said "this is the story of my life" and I had never heard the whole simple plan cd, but while i was listening to it I realized it is exactly me and my dad's relationship. I was almost in tears when I was sitting there. Sometimes I think parents expect too much from us, and don't understand when we cant live the life they want us to have. All they want is for us to live the life they didn't have and it doesn't work that way. So many times I want to play this song for my dad and tell him that I need to live my own life and not the life that he wants me to live.... | |
