First of all you mentally challenged, 'tunnelvissioned' wanker!!!... Football (soccer) is a universal game... England or even the whole of great britain cant be blammed for the violence that occurs at the games.. there was hardly any kind of violence in the world cup this year throughout world... and absolutely no violence in england...! You are obviousley not interlectually skilled.. therefore you cannot even begin to discuss politics with me... I am no way bothered or even remotely jealouse of the power that america posseses... they are very powerful because they posses the worlds most deadly weapons... its all an international arms race... what you call 'power'... the ability to 'Freely' and 'legally' posses a fire arm so your children are at risk everyday... basically give a person the power to shoot someone and take there life... crime rates in America are far higher to the crime rates in Europe... yes! you are free... your kids are safe... because in your public schools you have metal detectors and armed security... in europe we havent got a single metal detector in a public school... I can't even begin to fully believe what you have just said about 'Nazi rule'... Your american!... your not german or remotely from europe.. chances are you arent 'blonde and blue eyed' you are obviousley very close minded... and have a tiny maybe racist brain... and yes i do agree hitler had the right idea... +.+ HE FUKIN SHOT HIMSELF DEAD!!! +.+ you call a person like that a leader... he was cowerdess! i cant even comprehend why you can even consider a person like that an authority figure! You cannot begin to put down a great country like holland.. holland being the wealthiest country in the european union.. and also having the lowest crime rate to any coutry in europe... ok this is totally hipothetical.. at a football game.. theres a wanker in the stadium being rowdy and throwing things.. is he on alcohol... or Cannabis... there ya go... holland is the most free country in the world... and they are brilliant layed back people... they have more respect for this world than any of you because 89% of the population ride bikes... you have the freedom to smoke cannabis when and wherever... thats freedom my friend! and i think you should run for president you would do well because you aswell as leaders like george bush share that common lack of knowledge,.. i tell you america has something they can put under the belt.. the statistic of the most overweight people in the world... you junk food kings!! you have the freedom to walk into burger king or mcdonalds and get fat with your jumbo portions of food dipped in grease..! nah im only kidding no offence to america they are a great country and have helped the UK out as much as we have helped them out because our troops died this year because of there problem with afganitan.. as well as there troops have shed blood and died for there causes.. we are allies... but this is becoming rather silly this song is about cookies and it shows how maynard would probably laugh his face off at us because he sparked a great politcal debate over hash cookies in german... maybe its what he wanted to do.. maybe it was a greater intention... whatever it was... it shows how stupid and narrow minded people can be about politics, some goin so 'far right' that they could fall off there computer chairs... anyway its been rather entertaining... stephen (spereira1@hotmail.com) |

Well done! 'mondain II' got it right... it is a play on words... maynard didnt go too personal with the lyrics.. like the majority of tool songs, stinkfist can be interpreted into many meanings... you pick the one that means most to you and you can relate to it... there is no right or wrong meaning... the true meaning is in the eye of the reader/ listener... I have a personal view on schism... i believe that its about a person(s) losing faith... and if it continues it will be the end of christianity and other religions... maynard says ''there was a time that the pieces fit'', which means the person or himself once had faith in a religion... but then realised the truth or what he would consider the truth... at the end of the song... 'Cold silence has a tendancy too atrophy any sense of compasion', basically atrophy means to wilter away to fade.... so maybe the absense of his previouse religion is how he realised the truth.... 'between supposed lovers/brothers' basically the loss of faith, caused 2 close people to split apart to drift away from each other... ' I know the pieces fit', perhaps its himself trying to tell himself that its all true,.. trying to make himself believe in it.. but its unsuccesful... well thats my person opinion.. stephen...
