| My interpretation of this song has always been that he's got this crush on a younger girl. He's telling her his feelings but he's also cautioning her not to get too carried away - there are rules about old goats like him, etc. Also, saying "like" too much is a classic stereotype of the teenage female. He's discovered this incredible, although younger, person, and next to her he feels as though he "sucks". :) | |
