this song has different meanings. The first verse is about self fufillment. He feels he has tried everything to do what he wants but still hasnt gotten there. he wanted whatever so much he even did things he now regrets to get there. The second verse is about a girl who does not have what she needs. things other people take for granted. a safe house a warm bed, something to hold onto. she lives in the park i suppose. maybe shes had these things but it was only temporary, it was never really hers. she needs a family |
