yeah i agree with you mavrikz, they do love music and they aren't going to stop it just because bradley dies. but at the same time, everytime i hear this song i get pissed off. they didn't need to put bradley's voice in it. to me that's like them living off of bradley. they don't want to be recognized as a tribute band, yet they cover most sublime songs and they put bradley's voice in this song. ionno. they need to be their own band. rest in peace bradley. i love you, and im going to visit your gravesite this weekend, again, to pay my respects. lbc forever |

fuck whoever said that its "really hard for a girl to sing punk" what the fuck are you talking about? so, in other words, because girls have higher voices, we have to conform to society and become popular? bull shit. and its not like she really WANTS to be punk. i mean, c'mon now, if she WAS punk she could of signed with a smaller label and said what she actually wanted to say instead of just writing whatever would make her the most money. that makes me lose any respect for her. o well. people are going to be people, and i know i can't change your views on her. but a word to the wise on punkrock music. if its on mtv, it ain't punk. simple as that |

okay. this is my view of miss avril lavigne. she's not punk. i agree with whoever the hell said that she was pop with and edge, cuz that pretty much sums it up. and when she was on TRL she did not ACT like a punk, what the fuck were you talking about... whoever said that?? she's just fabricated. some person in a record company decided to make a female blink band, i mean c'mon now. what punk band with an ACTUAL band would call it "avril lavigne" if there were... ionno... 4 other members in the band? honestly. and i think i do have more respect for britney spears then her because at least britney realizes that she's pop and isn't trying to be something she's not. god i swear... she just pisses me off cuz she's making the whole punk style trendy. really, look at the lyrics. they're nothing special... rather mediocre (i don't know if thats how to spell it) if you ask me. the actual music isn't that special... it just has a beat. she is really pretty, but, that's just beauty and music has nothing to do with how beautiful a person is. so when you think about it, what's so special about her? she was just another girl with a unique voice that some company picked up and fabricated to fit an image that would stimulate mindless people in society looking for some kind of music to dance to. c'mon. move on. find something with meaning. |

i agree with whoever said "if you don't like the music you most likely don't relate to it" and i think that this song is just one of those beautiful, innocent, songs that make you smile when you think of the good times and cry when you think of what happened because of them. i think of it as the beginning song to a relationship and "this brilliant dance" the end to a relationship. i know that they probably weren't written in that order, but i don't care. i am going to get tickets to see dashboard (hopefully) for my birthday and im probably going to invite that special someone, but regardless this song is an awesome song and i love it. you can hate it, i don't care but you're not going to convince me that "dashboard sucks" because every single fucking song hits more more then you'll ever know and i don't care what you think about it. oh and ride on to whoever said "don't bash dash" lol i love it im going to use it now and forever |

oh and one more thing. in order to sell out your music must change. now original dashboard started out with a guitar and some pretty heart-filled lyrics. yes, they might have 3 other members now but chris still has his electric guitar and his lyrics are just the same as ever. yeah i know it sucks that the band is getting so popular and i walked in to get dinner the other night at some restaurant and they were playing "screaming infidelities" but the band really can't help how popular they are getting. being popular doesnt' mean you sell out. you only sell out when you change what you were originally aobut |

first of all for the deftones girl that song is on the "so impossible ep" and for the rest of you music critics. i see that a lot of you state your so-called opinions as facts. yes i realize that you are allowed to have free speech but i think people get a whole lot more pissed off at you guys when you say "dc is horrible" rather then "i think dc is horrible" i realize that you guys just want us to be pissed at you because that's what you feed off of, but still, if you're going to try to get us to listen to you at least TRY to sound intelligent. ummm what else did i want to say? o yes. im really fucking sick of all this "this is emo" "this isn't emo" "this is punk" "this is pop" "no that's not pop that's pop-rock" God i wish you guys would get over the labels and just start liking the music. WHO CARES WHAT IT IS AS LONG AS YOU LIKE IT! i realize that my name is emocheech but its more of a nickname for me from my friends, but that's besides the point. im not going to disrespect some person for liking some band or something because i don't like it. in fact, i have respect for most bands that write their own music. i have friends that like blink, and while i can't them i don't sit there and tell them that blink is lame because "they once were punk rock and they are now pop punk" WHO CARES?!?! if someone likes someone why not just let them like them because music is supposed to express yourself and its supposed to complete your feelings and you sitting there dissing on a band that might do that for someone is really lame. so just fuck off and let people have their own opinions and give other genres a chance. you can like punk and like other kinds of music too. go against the flow. god. |

i think the verse "your hair it's everywhere screaming infidelities and taking its wear" is more of a metaphore. her hair is actually memories of her and where ever he looks he sees memories of her and they're reminding her of her infidelities (untruthfullness, usually between sexual partners) and they're just making him fall apart. the lyrics on this song are amazing. that's why i like dashboard so much because all of his songs make you think. i don't really listen to the radio so i don't know that its being played out or anything but its a great song and i see why it would be on the radio. |

awesome song. by far one of my favorites. i know dc's lyrics haven't changed and they're still very awesome but i wish it was just him and his acoustic. cuz then he was really different. in my opinion very punk because he went against what everyone else was doing and just did his own thing. in issue number 168 of "alternate press" magazine he says, "i don't know what's necessariliy more punk than stepping on stage for Snapcase and H2O with an acoustic guitar on a stool (66)." and he's right, that's pretty punk rock. but now that dc is now a full band, they're still awesome and chris' music is just as wonderful as ever but... i dont know... he lost his individuality. his lyrics are still wonderful and make you teary-eyed but he's not the only band out there that writes great lyrics. im still a huge fan of dashbaord and i will be for a very long time, i just wish that he was still just a solo project. |

i love this song so much. from the first time i heard it all i could say was "wow". chris is incredible. his lyrics strike every person i know no matter what kind of music they are into. and as for the version on the summer kiss ep... well... its still a great song but for some reason i think that this song hits me more dramatically played acoustic |

this song is so incredible. im addicted to it. i can listen to it for hours straight. im going through a hard time with my boyfriend right now and i don't know how i found this song, but i did and i just completely relate to it. theres no way to describe what it does to me when i listen to it. i just kind of... want to cry but yet i don't because its so beautiful. i feel like a loser, but this is just one of those songs that you can't help but loving and whenever i play it for someone they love it to. its just an amazing song |
