next to rock and roll ain't noise pollution, this is the best rock anthem ever.. funny that the 2 best rock anthems were both written by ac/dc... the meaning is self-explanitory i think... and the video kicked major booty..

i don't think it had anything to do with vietnam, but i have no proof of that.. sure, the narrator is the grim reaper, but that doesn't explain in anyway the meaning of the song.. i would be satisfied to believe some of the lyrics were inspired by the passing of bon scot, but i am not sure...

hmm.. i think bon scott was from scotland actually... i can't remember if he was born in scotland and then moved to australia or if he was born in australia and moved to scotland and then moved back to australia.. because bon scott wasn't his real name, it comes from "bonny scot," which he was referred to by his classmates in australia.. umm.. yeh, the song was related to bon scot.. can't remember if there are 2 t's or one.. anyway, i think the night stalker thing (or whatever the crazy "ac/dc inspired" killer's name was) happened after the album was released, so i'm quite confident the song did not relate to that.. i'd have to check up on that tho, but i'm pretty sure it occurred after the album's release..

i'm not a big hardcore biker type... but this remains for me the truest rock and roll anthem.. and the beat is frickin awesome.. in my opinion.. like right at the beginning, the open riff when it's just the guitar... mmm.. makes my spine tingle.. angus is a genius:-)
