Seems hes talking about a girl who he thinks is right for him but again doesn't and is kind of going in circles about it. "you're like a play that's like a pen" you can have one without the other and vise versa (circles) And most "you're like MC Escher but a 10" Mc Escher is the artist who created the never ending staircase paintings and the illusion of water flowing downwards to eventually somehow appear to be going upward and repeating. True, but what he seems to be trying to say is the population is getting dumber through different activities or lack there of. Mostly he points out cell phones/ "isn't it maxic how thigmotaxic the herd hath become, flouride makes you dumb" Meanning - "look how out there it is that everyone is so atached to their cell phones (thigmotaxic meaning to be attached to a mechanical device) and to add emphasis flouride does dull your mind down. Drives this through with "Shock the Kasbah diffusion is next Check the sonic death text Are we but infinite specks Left perplexed" Look at at the people dumbing themselves down with text messages by the billions and Ash then labeling them "specks" with no idead what is really going on. That verse makes sense, most the rest looks to be word fun with some subtle points thrown in |

Dont know if any1 has really got this one nailed down. This song is about how drugs are better then life in general. "Do you believe, when you're high, That your life is tried" I dunno how many of you have tried hallucingenic drugs such as mushrooms/lsd but they give you are broader view on your life and whats around you. What that lyric means is when your high do you realize that your life isn't as exciting as it appears to be in a sober state of mind. But also, notice the verse lyrics and how they start with being "baked" "flying" and then later on it's "fake" and "fading". In conclusion although drugs may make it seem as though your life in tried, your life on drugs will eventually be the same. Dont analyze SOAD lyrics too much. "Look at the big picture" as Serg likes to say. |

| I think you can see someone better then you can see yourself sometimes. I also think it's because sometimes people open themselves up more to you then you do to yourself. | Of course people can relate to this song, no matter if you are looked up to as a hero by everyone or by one person, it is a resposibility. Your don't choose to be a hero, and once you are you have to live up to a certain expectation. A hero is looked opun as being able to withstand anyhting that comes their way. If we all agree that superman is the symbolic person to represent the song then "digging for kryptonite on this one way street" means they are tired of being a hero and maybe killing or injurng themselves is the only way to show this. "stop killing our mother" in this song means to stop killing mother earth. It is true that nothing in this world has casued more war and pain then religion. Religious people can counteract with opposites until the cows come home, "without suffering there would be no compassion" well fuck if there wasn't suffering I could go without commpasion. You are not an american, italian, mexican, you are a Cherokee, Keltic, Viking,an Apatchy, these tribal connections are where you come from. Your mind is the highest power. Your god your religion is a dot of information inside your mind, you obviously were told this, why can't you live your own mind? I don't believe everything that Corporate Avenger believe in but what they say is true. We are all one small moment inside a huge moment. I thought I would type this and now here it exists, do what you believe, don't take no for an answer and never be ashamed of what you believe in.
