Well the original script is going to get a complete redo, just because it was going in a teen movie direction and I hated it. I don't know how long it will take to finish it. I'm currently writing a script based on this song, The film will not be a horror film but it'll have some gruesome scenes in it. The tenative name of the film will be "I'll Do Anything" and that song will be used in the film at some point as well. The plot is that this guy (Paul) is great friends with a girl (Leigh), but he can't express these feelings for two reasons. 1) her boyfriend (Brad), he is a nice guy, and is cool to everyone, he also gets along with Paul even tho he knows about Pauls feelings about Leigh. 2) His own fears about what would happen if it went right and him and Leigh would be together, or if his real feelings would end their friendship.
Paul is probably more of an anti-hero because he will end up killing Brad (Kinda Like in the song), but he also ends up killing himself, because of the fact that if Leigh everfound out, he could never handle her not being in his life. So In the end he is both the hero and the villian.
What makes the whole plot great is that Leigh Never finds out who kills Brad, because no one saw the killing, and the police never had Paul a suspect, Leigh Then Finds out about Pauls feelings when his parents gave Leigh all of his Notebooks (Paul is a writer). The movie will end with Leigh reading a poem on his true feelings for her, and then she cries and tear drops on the page.

In My Personal Opinion. I think almost every person can relate to this song. And That is what makes this song so powerful. Anyone can write a song that is catchy, but few can write songs that people can feel. |

The pinnacle of what a love song should be: it's honest, touching, and downright beautiful. The backing vocals by Brandon Boyd(incubus) are another great part of this song.
Tommy wrote this song about his fiance, and how much he loves her, and appreciates her, because his rode to her was rough and hard. He though he found love twice in his life(read THE DIRT by motley crue and you'll learn a lot about him)
Tommy is truly someone to look up to, and not to look down to. Tommy is a true survivor in every sense of the word, and i'm proud as shit to be a fan of his. |

I just lost the girl i love and not cause i'm an asshole guy...but because she was i afraid i would hurt her like many asshole guys would...And I'm lost without her cause She means the world to me...And everytime i hear this song it makes me think of her...The lyrics sound like what is going on...She left me cause she has been hurt so many times in her life...buy guys she thought she loved...And the line about his intentions...is to me what i feel my intentions are to never hurt her...cause i couldn't and one day she'll hopefully realize this...
