Matthew Good Band – A Boy And His Machine Gun Lyrics 23 years ago
I can never figure out if it's principals or principles.

Principal is like, the director of a school. But principles is people's morals or whatever. I'm not sure how to explain it. I could look it up, but I'm lazy. This is the first MGB song I heard, and one of my very favourites. I can't choose any one favourite though, I love all his songs.

Dashboard Confessional – Screaming Infidelities Lyrics 23 years ago
This was the third Dashboard Confessional song I heard. When my friend sent me the MP3 of Again I Go Unnoticed, decided I absolutely had to have the CD, so I went and go it. I had to special order it, but they got it in about three days. So I went and picked it up, and stuck it in my CD player, and turned it on. By the time I got to this song, I was crying. I can't really claim to have experienced the feelings in this song, I've never had a boyfriend, but I was just.. awestruck by it. I had the CD on repeat, and cried through the entire thing, several times over. So yeah, I like this song.

About the hair stuff, it could mean a lot of things. I know when I find my mom's hair on my brushes I get really annoyed, but if somebody's ex-boyfriend/girlfriend was using their brush and they noticed their hair it might make somebody kinda sad. Or it could be a metaphor or something.

As to all this stuff about "I'm missing your bed", A) You can sleep in someone's bed without having sex with them. I've always daydreamed about cuddling in my bed with this guy I've got a crush on. I'm such a sap.. And B) If he did have sex with her, big deal. He's old enough to make his own decisions. I've met a fair amount of Christians who are unmarried and unvirginal.

But in any case. Good song. Take whatever meaning you want from it, or take no meaning at all. Good music is good music.

Dashboard Confessional – Again I Go Unnoticed Lyrics 23 years ago
Wow.. Um, this is the first Dashboard Confessional song I ever heard, and what made me fall in love with the band. At the time, the guy who I loved was completely and totally ignoring me, so this pretty much became my themesong. Luckily things are going better between us (I hope so anyways), but the television still steals the conversation. But he's adorable on the phone when he's laughing at the TV and completely ignoring me, so I can forgive him.
