"this is incredible, starving, insatiable, yes, this is love for the first time. well you'd like to think that you were invincible, yeah, well weren't we all once? before we felt loss for the first time. well this is the last time." that line right there makes the whole song. incredible, starving, insatiable, that's how he's describing love. and it's so true, how, the first time you experience love, you do feel invincible, and when it's gone, you lose that feeling. in the end it sounds like he's giving up. this song is by far one of his best, and it's one of my favorite songs. chris carrabba is an amazing songwriter, and also a poet. |
