For some reason this song's lyrics comes off as a bit suicidal, but whether or not that's what it's about, I'm not sure. But this is really a beautiful song, their best in my opinion, although the only time I've seen them play it was on BOTR. This is the song that made me a fan dammit! |

It's like saying that the light is green for you to go and get on with your life and make something of yourself, but it's got that annoyed tone because you haven't begun to move yet, so it's asking do you need it to be a certain shade? |

One of my favorite songs. I see it as a way of seeing how TV is controlling and corrupting the minds of our youth.
One of the things I'm curious about is the line "You keep your riches and I'll sew my stitches", it kinda sounds like he thought of it after reading "Brand New World"...
