this is one of my favorite selena songs. i wish i had known who she was before i saw the movie. then i could've enjoyed her voice while she was alive. with most movies, once i see them once or twice i don't cry anymore, but i still cry when i watch selena...just like i still cry when i watch an aaliyah video or anything.

why doesn't anybody comment on her spanish songs? you can look at other sites for the english translations if that's the problem...anyway, this song is about love...(duh)...it's about how love should last if it was ever true. it's about a girl seeing a former love w/ his new love. i know exactly how that feels...and i didn't realize it until now. i'm stupid! anyway, yeah. you ppl should look at selena's spanish songs more often.

i don't like britney. i say that she doesn't sing any more, she whines. she used to at least do a tiny subset of singing, but now it's just stupid. i do, however, actually like this song. this is the last song by her that i liked...it's really the only one i think...well, i liked "lucky" too, but that's beside the point. this song actually shows some of her vocal range...when she actually sings. |

i LOVE this song. it rings true to me b/c i used to write poetry, but it was said that i needed to lose supposed cliches. i haven't written anything since january. but anyway, this song is really special to me b/c while watching the movie i realized what i want in life and how unrealistic it is. i realized that, even if i had to die young, i would want the life of jaime sullivan or a life even half that filled w/ love.
if you loved the movie, read the book. i read it before i saw the movie, and i'm proud to say that this is the first time i've ever found a movie as good as the book.

i agree w/ lunch box angel about the bitterness and the common decency of ex's talking to each other. my ex told me that the reason he didn't call over the summer is b/c he had football practice every day, which he did, but he still had time to play video games w/ his brother who he can't stand...but his friends who were also at football practice had time to call...he was trying to defend himself b/c i told him not to expect me to talk/be friends w/ him as soon as school starts b/c i don't have real friends who only talk to me during school.
