One of my favorites from The Smiths too. I don't know how familiar everyone is with Gregg Araki's movie The Doom Generation, but this song always makes me think of the relationship the two main characters have. There's a scene in the movie also that really goes along with this song where the guy wishes that they'd both die together in a firey explosion at once because he can't bear to miss her. Anyway, I think the song is more about true love than a one night stand. |
