this has to be my fave darling violetta song, its very sexy. i think that cammie ellen is writing about a sexual relationship that she doesn't want to be a part of anymore but can't help but be a part of...i dunno hehe. i love the part that says "i tasted your wine & then i drank your soul" its very sensual and romantic and i think a beautiful way of expressing these emotions. |

this is probably on of my fave deftones songs...its so passionate (like all of their songs hehe) i agree completely with harry manback that the characters in the song have been hurt in the past or hurt each other. maybe they hurt each other emotionally and chino used physical imagery "blood in your hair" bruise of the year" to emphasise the pain of their situation. in the end tho he can't let her go "but i'll keep you" because he does love her in the end. i love the way the song opens with "i feel soon i will sink into you, what do you think?" to me its like he's saying hes knows he's going to fall in love with her "sink into you" and i think its a really beautiful way of putting it. i also like necrocides idea about the mascara runing down her face as she cries..nice one |

In many ways I relate this song to my life. To me its about feeling like you don't belong...and you need to get far away, and you're so desperate it doesn't matter where "I don't care where just far". Thats how it make me feel anyway.
Oh yeah...deftones are one of the most amazing bands around and chino is one of the most beautiful singers and songwriters I know. |
