I love this song, and especially love seeing Michael Pinder sing it live on the Isle of Wight video. I think it's enlightened people vs people who haven't been enlightened yet, but there is hope for them. He (whoever he is, maybe Mike) is melancholy looking around and observing people who haven't quite gotten it yet. The hopeful part is the end - "but we're going to keep growing - wait and see." |
