I was just sent this song by my boyfriend last night. He has this endearing tendency to send a song to say something meaningful or emotional that he can't say directly. I've listened to it multiple times, looked at the lyrics and all the interpretations. One thing is very clear - this song is versatile - people relate to it - but for their own, varied reasons. I think that's what art is all about, right? So... for me, before reading all the interpretations, it felt very personal and felt like it related directly to my situation. |
