So with that in mind, allow me to let you and everyone else that never knew this before in on a well known secret….. Eulogy was written about BILL HICKS. It’s not that hard to find the bands corroboration with my claim. Most tool fans that have been fans since the early to mid 90s are well aware. The entire Ænima album was dedicated to Bill Hicks. Hell, he’s in the album art. It’s not this deep. You had a lot to say. You had a lot of nothing to say……🤣🤣 |

So for those of us who have listened to tool since songs like sober and hush were played on the radio the very first time….there are those of us who know this song was written about BILL HICKS. The entire album was dedicated to him due to his untimely death Feb 24 1994. Maynard was a huge fan of Bill Hicks. The other band members were as well. Trust me when I say, it’s not that deep!! Most tool songs aren’t near as deep as most people think or hope they are. That’s why I love them so damn much. I’ve seen them 15 times since 1993. Enjoy the music yall! ✌️ |
