This song was written played and sung by Floaters former drummer Peter Cornett. He struggled with drinking for a long time and was aware of that fact deeply. This song is about that struggle and the cycle of pain that Pete was in. RIP to one of the greatest to ever do it and all the fans miss his performance. I was never lucky enough to see him play live but his recordings will live on forever. |
