| One of my favorite Dead tunes. Just today thought to research the song meaning and inspiration. Total crack up being about an electric fan. I love people taking the mundane and twisting it into something poetic much like the Jimi Hendrix song "Fire" in that it sounds like he's talking about woman he likes but it's actually about Noel Redding's mom's dog not letting him get next to the fire place when he was freezing after travelling in a car with no heater. Poetry and imagery in music is something that is sadly lacking in today's music. | |
