No one has probably contributed here in decades, but, whatever.
I believe this song is about wanting to be a good human, but repeating your mistakes that make you less than that, and feeling guilty, yet also not giving a damn about the mistakes you're making. Stuck in a loop of wanting to be better because you know you'll feel better, but being lazy about it and doing the bare minimum. YOU are the line between good and evil. You want to turn the other cheek towards someone, be the better man. But a part of you is like, "get revenge and arrest them. They deserve it." The guilt from those thoughts pile and pile and pile, to where you would kill yourself just to escape them.
This is more just speaking of what I'M going through and what this song means to me. I would prefer no constructive criticism, or just no criticism at all. Thanks. |
