And mostly we should look for and really love on that true inner child that wants to come out and be safe. Dale Carnegie said to say all the positive things first before you bring up anything negative. That’s because we are all harder on ourselves than anyone else can possibly be. And if you criticize someone who is already feeling bad about themselves, then you just add to their burden. It’s much better to love what Is good and actively help them with what they hate about themselves, which puts you on their side.
