"Virtual bedroom Rise like a full moon Show me pictures that hang in your house Pictures that hang in your mouth Candescent insects" This part always makes me think of the video game series, Animal Crossing. Especially relevant when this song may have been written. In a time where we were all trapped inside, we only had virtual bedrooms to show to one another. Virtual bugs, and a virtual moon. This is simply a personal interpretation, but I like to think of how I've played this game series as I've grown up, but it has always been a source of comfort and innocence for me. |
