The first two verses are a woman speaking to her fling partner. The woman and her “real”partner are in an open relationship. The “truth” is the fact that the woman is devoted to her “real” partner and also that the flings are part of her desires as well. The second two verses are the woman speaking to herself, saying that she wants to pursue the fling “alone”, and that while the affair “breaks her heart”, she follows her desires anyhow, and wants to let the confession of her affair to be a “deep surprise” to her real partner. The last two verses are the woman speaking to her “real” partner, saying her fling may hurt (cry) the “real” partner a bit, but also says she must loose herself in the fling (all must die) and that their relationship will “grow” from the experience.
