I think this song is about adolescent love. Typically, being young and in love even though you may have no money, no clothes, etc…, you both still love strong. As we age and become enthralled in our careers or children, we lose sight of the love we had when we had nothing. I can also relate this message to friends who we share a loving bond throughout our lives. I love this song. It brings me so much joy. It sounds like an old pop love ballad. |
