Thank you, I always thought it was a philosophical song about how we are all born into existence, (seemingly) separating from our source. And we should all endeavor to appreciate that we were once ONE with all things and will be again. |

@[friedgreentoyotas:54830] I get the same nostalgic feeling of post-nuclear. But think thats because this song came out in 1982 and the TV movie "The Day After" about nuclear war came out a year later. The cold war scared the b-jezus out of all of us, impacting me at 12 years old. The song fit the feeling of the film so well, it stuck with me. But i'm sure Simon was talking about chance vacation boom boom! |
