This is obviously about the rise of Hitler and the Nazi party. I also think it relates to Lenin and Stalin. America is named in the song as well as there was a Nazi presence and a Nazi rally was held in New York in 1939. The lyrics relating to the arts etc is about the Nazi hail of stolen art and ancient artifacts. The Nazis were well known for their love of art and historical artifacts. |
