| I’ve always thought that this song was about obsession rather than love. The “ That’s what you are” sounds condescending to me and like he’s saying that she’s nothing BUT his love. He also never flips it around and says that he’s also her destiny and etc. Plus the overall feel of the song seems very powerful and intimidating and possessive instead of romantic or heartfelt. | |
