I met a guy online and we talked for only a few days, but somehow those few days were enough for me to really like him — like, a lot. I ended up telling him how I felt, but he didn’t feel the same. He said it wouldn’t work because he was moving to the US to study, so we wouldn’t be able to see each other. We both love Travis. Now, whenever I listen to this song, I think of him — it kind of connects my feelings with what the narrator’s going through. It’s such a bittersweet feeling. I know it probably meant nothing to him, but those few days really stuck with me. I haven’t felt that kind of connection in years. I guess it is what it is but I am still writing to reach him. |
