This is about flat earth theory. The circle line referred to in the lyric is not the London Underground Circle Line but rather the Arctic Circle; the ice-wall at the edge of the earth. "As you cross the circle line the ice wall creaks behind" ... and shatters, sending out "silver splinters" or shards of ice from the circular ice wall. |
