My gosh! Reading these comments, I was a little taken aback to realise that this song is now over 20 years old!! My Nan, my best friend when I was 20, died. The first ever person that I had to deal with death and loss. Completely broke me. A year after, I heard this song and dammit if Robbie hadn't written it for me! 😊 She taught me Kings and Queens, while stroking my hair 😊 Jack out of Town is what my Nan taught me at her kitchen table. This is my absolute go to song, when even after all this time, I need to feel her ❤️ |
