Whenever I hear the lyrics, I think of it as a person finally achieving a goal. “I’m the king of my own land”, I interpret as you can decide what to do with your dream. “Facing tempests of dust, I’ll fight until the end”, I think of having perseverance through the adversity and failures on your journey to the goal. “Creatures of my dreams raise up and dance with me” I think is the process of seeing the success beginning to happen and everything starting to click. “Now and forever, I’m your king” you’ve achieved the goal. |
