He was only 45 leaving me an angry, suicidal wanting to be with him, depressed, lonely, just lost & hopeless. No one knew what to say or how to help me & the more they did the worse & more lonely I felt. I can't hear this song without crying & crack a small smile remembering him. |

This song means so much to me. Only someone who knows alcoholism's control, damage, the regret &, God willing, the freedom could write a song so perfect. I am grateful to say that I now have 2 years sober & I have my family & friends back. I pray for all those on their path that they find their way to peace, happiness & truly living life. |
