| I always viewed it as a desire to escape the city life filled with crime and drugs to escape to somewhere nice as the title suggests “range life” as in rangelands (google it) on a farm or a rural town. The song feels like a summer evening walking to who knows where doing who knows what, carefree and like being a teenager. This is from someone who didnt know pavement and smashing pumpkins had a rivalry as i wasnt born when this song was released. However I truly love the vibe of it and how it feels like a orange and pink sunset and the need to escape your day to day life. | |
