| @[LeadEnema:53498] this song to me has a different meaning. I grew up in a bad home. Torn down from those who were supposed to love and care for me. I view the song as well more of a way of claiming back your power and showing those around you that they can't control you anymore or have any say over your life. When he says the darkness never comes in the night you can sleep with a gun but when you gonna wake up and fight for yourself. It's more like he understands what it's like to be in a certain situation and it's time for you to take away their power and their hold over you. I won't go into everything I've been through in life but if I had a theme song sound of madness would be it. Because it's so relatable to how I've been through it and am still here. | |
