Change the pronoum. "Him", to "Her". Or acknowledge, that "Him" could be money, a drug, a female, a male, anything. Someone that lost a very close person, to... Drugs? Betrayal? Money? Someone who was the same, a "twin", a soulmate, that betrayed, that chose another one, something else. I had a fellow brother that chose "something" instead of our friendship. He was my brother in arms. Though... I miss Him still. I've saw Him some days ago. He doesn't even look like the same person. He has lost, and blaming "anyone", avoiding help at all, only made it worse. Yet still, I am an ever watchful sentinel. Though... Since this last time we saw each other, I've unwilling to go on... No one can help someone, if they do not want to help themselves. |
