haha yeah, i'm gonna comment on this song even though hundreds of people already have. yeah, so this is an awesome song, i really love the part where its like "and do you like making out and long drives and brown eyes and guys that just don't quite fit in?" cuz my boyfriend..yeah..we like making out. haha, and he lives in the town over, so when he picks me up we take long drives so we can be alone longer. and he has awesome brown eyes. and he doesn't quite fit in. but we all love guys like that. yes. thats all. it meant a lot more to me when dashboard wasn't so known, but i don't care, i still love chris carrabba, he's such a beast. hell yes. |

Wow. I cannot stop listening to this song. This whole song just tears me up when I listen to it, but there are certain parts that really get to me. I could listen to this song on repeat forever. It's so perfect for what I'm going through now in every possible way...feeling completely alone and unwanted is absolutely the worst feeling I have ever felt, and this song is helping me get through it.
"Why do you look when you’ve already found me? What did you find that could leave you walking by?" Not wanting them to leave because you feel that you're supposed to be together, but they don't feel the same way... "I could stay here all day but that’s not how you feel." Loving someone so much, and not getting the feeling returned... "And what did I do that you can’t seem to want me?" Feeling like the only possible reason for them leaving is all your fault, you're the one that did something wrong, all blame is on you... "Where can I go that your pictures won’t haunt me? What makes it so easy for you to be walking by?" Knowing that you can't stop thinking about them, everything you see or think of reminds you of them...you're still in love, but they're already over you, and you aren't getting them back...

this song is so...beautiful. everytime he sings the chorus, it makes me want to cry, i don't know why. you can just feel all the emotions. awesome. my favorite part of this song is "though i'm weak inside, i'm thriving just the same, still calling out your name, wondering who it is that i should blame." i'm not sure why...anyway, its just an all around awesome song. |

yeah, this song is definately awesome. i can't really relate to the whole general idea of the song, but a few parts really remind me of what i've been going through, like "Here with my problems, I don't need the light, they're bigger than darkness and darker than night." and "I never knew there'd be distance between us, what I've done cannot be repeated...and I've got scars I'm willing to show you, you had heart that I'll never see." SoCo is awesome. |
