I always thought this song was about a father abusing his daughters, while going around shooting his guns like he didn't care at all, or see the issue in his actions. Lots of the lyrics I heard pertaining to this - "spring is here again, reproductive glands", "nature is a whore, bruises on the fruit, tender age in bloom", "he likes all our pretty songs (girls), he likes to shoot his gun, but he knows not what it means". Just my thoughts and interpretations on it. |
