Because of the line "It breaks your heart to see me consume" I think it is about the protagonist having a drug habit. They don't wanna be talked out of it. The person trying to talk them out of consuming seems to have a following or be part of one. So maybe they are in a sect and have a personal relationship with the protagonist. In the protagonist's opinion the sect is more dangerous than drugs: "It shatters mine to see people follow you." Because of the title "white washed", I interpret, that is is a white supremacist sect and may actually be more dangerous than drug consumption. Because the consumption is only mentioned in one sentence, it may be something relative harmless, like moderate amounts of alcohol and weed. At least it is seen as harmless by the protagonist. Consumption may also refer to sex or other relatively harmless practices. |
