I thought about the lyrics of this song a little bit because I had a bad day today. that's why I opened an account on this site. yea, maybe the meanings I got are just what I want to understand ykwım, whatever. Most of Linkin Park's songs always leave a gray area for the listener. This is what I love. Is it talking about a relationship or an internal fight? The lyrics that seem optimistic maybe are actually pessimistic.. It's up to you to understand it however you want. This song is one of them. The song uses military themes due to the concept of the album, hand grenades, trenches, etc. But to me, the song seems more like someone who has ruined their psychology and all their real life relationships have been destroyed because of this, telling someone how to pour out their feelings. "Truth is you can stop and stare Run myself out and no one cares Dug a trench out, laid down there" and he tried to do it so many times.. "here we go for the hundred time" what attracted me to the song is that it is a rare song by linkin park with a lot of profanity, it is interesting because the flow of the song is lively and it seems like an optimistic song but when we look at the lyrics, the person who pours out his heart in a pub has really lost his mind because of what he has experienced! "Hand grenade pins in every line Going out of my fucking mind Fithy mouth, no excuse" and I really don't remember if there is another song by linkin park that refers to suicide so openly.
