| You never met a motherfucker quite like me! Was MY rep on the streets of South Florida in the 80s and 90s. My entire family knew teenage Bobby in the mid 80s when he came to Florida for awhile. One night after I took care of a problem my brother and Bobby were dealing with. Bobby was like damn I never saw someone do something like that! My answer to him was that he probably wouldn’t because “ you never met a motherfucker quite like me”. He told me that night that he was going to steal my rep and I didn’t think a thing about it. That is until I said it to somebody right after he released the song and they accused me of copying Kid Rock. I didn’t know that Bobby had made it like he dreamed about when I knew him as a teenager until I was accused of copying him. I am actively trying to reclaim what is mine and I have been trying to get in touch with Bobby. So if anyone who knows him sees this posting please send it to him. I’m not trying to fight with an old friend but I’m tired of being told that I made this story up as I’m being laughed at. I don’t want his money I need him to give me credit for the expression. My son thinks that his dear old dad is trying to impress him with a tall tale when I completely speak the truth. | |
