@[tyak:53100] ….I heard this song several months before I visited my mother in San Antonio. I will never forget that Uber ride from the airport to her house near Redland. I saw several deer dead on the side of the highway. I also saw raccoons, possums, dogs, and a few others but I couldn’t determine what they were. : ( It was so disheartening and during that ride this song immediately popped into my heart. Every time I hear it I think about the unprotected deer and all the other wildlife that have to risk their lives to cross the highway. It’s so disheartening knowing how much money the city of San Antonio has but they just don’t seem to care. They could fix the situation with fences or better yet natural bridges to facilitate the crossing g of local wildlife. Of course, this goes for cities across the nation but when you mentioned “deer” it struck a cord with me. I visit my mom every other month and I am going to start advocating for the construction of designated bridges to facilitate the animals ability to avoid getting killed on the roads and highways.
