@[Salty3180:53052] I remember thinking that too when I first heard it until I discovered it was actually written by Chris Helme when he was busking before ever meeting John Squire and being recruited into his new band. Great song - and I bet many of us assumed the lyrics were a parting shot to Ian as they word work so well as such. It just goes to prove how any art can be interpreted differently by everyone who witnesses it. |
