Love all of your interpretations, but they are so very far from what I got out of it. I guess I misheard/misinterpreted the lyrics. I always thought it was: It’s only slaughter We’re only lions It’s only blood and this song has always spoken to me as being about human nature. I equate it to giving in to internal desires, letting go and accepting your needs. |
