Undoubtedly Shawn’s best song ever, in my book. This was off of her first album, I believe, and her vocals were better on this album than on any other albums or even her live performances later on. I believe I read that she damaged her vocal cords at some point, so that probably had something to do with it. In any case it’s a wonderful song and probably would have been a monster hit if it had been re-worked a little and released as a country song. Anyway, thanks Shawn for your wonderful contributions to the world through your music! |
