| First Episode at Hienton is about Valerie from the Upper Class Society who turned away a man from the working class, set in Medieval times but a true life story that took place during modern times. It tells the hurtful story about a boy who fell in love with an upper class girl whom he could not marry and their carefree childhood turned to ashes. Valerie would sneak him in or they would find castle ruins and light a romantic candle under the ceiling. When it was discovered Valerie, a high class standing girl lost her virginity to a poor commoner boy, the guardians of the older generation prevented her from marrying him which she accepted to then leave him. Valerie was a woman and lonely as word got out that she was no longer a virgin to be eligible to marry the upper class boys. Valerie stayed at court at home to be rich not to be with her first love to have to marry down to be poor. The "turned up nose" he once loved turned on him then turned on her to make her lonely. This is a true story as I once met the very nice, but sad man growing up who said he trusted me with to help lyrics based on his book, a he liked my work which he read and my expression in artwork. He hoped for my feeling to be added from the lyrics from the others. They told him as an American that he should not have messed with her in England but claimed that he loved her so very much. He wrote a book which I saw, released years ago and he was carrying it everywhere as part of him. He now sent word later in his life for me to bring this about for him. He remained alone. I always felt hurt hearing this song. It was modern day story but old traditions still carried on through centuries. Valerie stayed at the castle so Valerie grew up from girl to woman and to become a lonely woman as word got out that she was alone. The man with no name in the song disclosed that he would have paced these roads to have loved her, but assumed now rejected would not return, as she was who she was and he was who he was, as said in the song. Valerie was told by the elders to leave her lower social standing boyfriend. Valerie accepted them and turned to him coldly to tell him that she could no longer see him because he was lower class. She appeared not to care when he said he was hurt. After his book and lyrics, the British Royalty opened up to the media for stories of marriages to commoners. As times have changed, not but not always, this man related this story to the Elton John team to express his sorrow. He has not found a new love since, just dated, as he always loved his first love, renamed as Valerie for the song. The album took place years later after dated. I was in a photograph too crossdressed. I grew up among this group in NYC and part of the design team. The leader asked me to create a new name and I created "Valerie" after the song Elton John song Valhalla (Heaven of the Norse Viking Gods). I spelled it Valerie for the 2 e's to match at the end as the couple was at the end in the song, but the other person said it could be 2 a's as Valarie but would leave it alone use my spelling to show the end. It is a new and not an old name that is said in books this group wrote. The albums took place later than dated. The one key person told me that he would be prevented from marrying me so how would I describe talking about this type of no future? I responded "the candle burned low". This means a candle flame as romantic that burns the wax down to nothing during a long time talking throughout the night, to the next and next night. It was symbolic also of a romantic candlelight flame burning low under the castle ruin ceiling hour after hour with no resolve for the doomed couple with no resolve staying up talking throughout the night, instead of the couple finding an answer to rest to fall asleep together. They made love that led to nothing. The other song "Come Down in Time" is the same man who got stood up by Valerie with no reason except she felt like not coming down being in the "turned up nose" class hurting his feelings. The candle was low, not fireworks up in the sky, when discussing their dismal future. He mentions the guardians of the older generation, who would be the decision-makers to break up the couple not go marry, but it was Valerie who accepted the rules and she chose to stay in high class, alone and rich, not to join the poorer working class. Some find strength to leave. Yet many ladies in the "turned up nose" high class society stayed on ended up alone from girl to woman. The same happened to boys who grew up to be men with lack of women at court, and these rules they followed to reject the non-virgins. The lyrics added for him to recommend for her not to be lonely and it is not true if it made it look like he outgrew her to break up with her, but she broke up with him by accepting the court social prejudice caste rules not to marry him who was beneath her social status. He truly was showing his love as he still deeply cared by not wanting her to be lonely. He decided not to return to find her again now an adult who then would have then but not now after all this to pace or walk these roads to love her again, through the changes of weather, climbing up and down hills by foot or horse, set in medieval times, no cars and too poor to own a carriage. In modern day, he was poor with no car and used a taxi or walked with no available public transportation to the castle. As Valerie grew into a woman, this boy grew up to be a man, hurt but wise not to return to find Valerie after all he endured having lost his first love to the social class caste system that she chose over him. It was a prejudice that hurt him to the remaining days of his life as he also ended up alone. | |
