I've read the words and, if you leave out half of them, you have a love song with very catchy music. I love the song. If you look at all of the words, however, they make no sense! For instance, " If you would give me all as I would give it to you, nothing would be". I dare anyone to tell me what that means. How about this, " Knock down the old gray wall, be a part of it all. Nothing to say, nothing to see, nothing to do". If you were going to be a part of it all, wouldn't there at least be something to see or something to do? See what I mean? Complete nonsense. I'm not knocking the band. They are one of my favorites but, let's not make excuses for people just because we like them. Let's be honest instead. |
