So, I don't know if a girl actually exists at all. The girl in this song may actually be methamphetamine. Meth itself is a very sexual drug and people use it so that they can fuck for hours on end. So this metaphor is perfect. In addition, meth is a drug that remains very seductive to you even if it starts ruining your life. Ever stay with the romantic partner where everything was shitty but "she's got her jaws just locked now in smile"? Ever get in a big fight with your partner (come down on meth), but then after a day or two, after swearing that you would leave, you're back for more? Thought so. Of course the lyrics are written in a way where you could interpret it several ways. Maybe he's in a relationship with a girl and they're doing drugs together but they're both hooked on their lifestyle even though it's destroying them. Maybe it's describing both at once with the same exact lines. Really cleverly written song. Now time to chop another line like a coda with a curse.... |
