This tune always brings a tear to my soul. Very long story, but was early 80s, I was the guitarist for a hair band way out in L.A. and got messed up with cocaine and girls, and my girlfriend was giving me fits, so I trashed the stage on my way to the bottom you might say...Anyway, this tune really brings that back outta me, love the song,but try to avoid hearing it,especially around others. |

First, this song is indeed awesome, second, I'm about 85% convinced that this song was a dedication to Kurt Cobain.
Third, someone, anyone...PLEASE for the Love of God, tell me what the hell ladders on the streets means. Is this something they used to do in Jersey, leave ladders all over the streets in case you see a cat in trouble in a tree? And now....maybe people have stole these ladders?, anyway, believe it or not, I am literally one of the very first Bon Jovi fans, fell in love with the music before any albums where made, in clubs in New Jersey, was dating a girl there. That first Album was unbeatable, I mean...Runaway,Roulette,She don't know me,Shot through the heart....first 4 cuts....then what...bam Sophomore album comes out, New Jersey, chock full O' Hits!!! |
